So, we've been keeping a secret, and we can't stand not to blurt it out anymore...
Last week, the International Chocolate Awards, the largest craft chocolate competition worldwide, announced the winners of the Americas contest. St. Croix Chocolate Company was among the winners.
But it's better than that! We led the parade! We made a yuzu marmalade, mandarin and black sesame bon bon that was the contest's highest scoring truffle! (Pardon us while we jump up and down and shout "Best of Show, baby!")
Guess that's how you follow up last year's Gold for the Macadamia!
Before you storm the shop wanting to try the yuzu, mandarin and black sesame, we only made a very limited amount of the yuzu marmalade (It's very challenging to find fresh yuzu in the U.S. and it's out of season at the moment). So we're going to hoard it to make sure we have enough to send to the World Finals in October.
