Allergy Information
Please note: St. Croix Chocolate Company chocolates are produced in a kitchen where wheat, milk, and nuts are handled. All chocolates contain milk. Chocolates may contain or be processed with equipment that comes into contact with wheat, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. Our chocolates may contain small amounts of alcohol used as a preservative. If a specific liquor is mentioned in the product name, it is included as a flavor ingredient.
Alcohol
Some of our chocolates contain alcohol, typically used in small quantities as a preservative or to enhance flavor. When alcohol is featured in the name of a chocolate, it will have a more pronounced, flavor-forward presence.
For detailed information on which chocolates contain alcohol, please refer to our flavor guide or ask for more information.
Dairy
Most of our chocolates and caramels contain dairy. Some specialty items (Tasting Frogs) may be dairy free.
Gluten
Our milk chocolates contain a minute amount of barley malt extract, which contains gluten. Some chocolates, such as Peanut Butter and Lemon S’presso, contain inclusions that contain gluten. Please ask if you are unsure.
Nuts
Some chocolates contain nuts, and all products are produced in a kitchen where nuts are present. For detailed information on which chocolates contain nuts, please refer to our flavor guide.
Sugar
Since sugar is already part of all the couverture we purchase, we do not offer sugar-free options.
For Vegans
Our core chocolates all contain milk or dairy, so they’re not vegan-friendly, but keep an eye out for our seasonal vegan chocolate treats that appear from time to time! Please ask if you are unsure.
