We've got some news to share, and trust us—it's too delicious to keep to ourselves! St. Croix Chocolate Company has just been honored with not one, but *seven awards* from Minnesota's Best, and we couldn't be more thrilled to spread the joy!
First up, we earned gold in the 2025 Best Candy Shop category.
This award, voted on by the public, has historically gone to larger candy stores that have more traffic (and larger advertising budgets). This year, our customers and supporters made sure the award recognized the passion and creativity SCCC pours into every chocolate bar, truffle, and treat.
“We really appreciate all the people who took the time to vote for us this past Spring,” said Robyn Dochterman, owner and head chocolatier.
“We have won international recognition for our chocolates, but this award is huge because Minnesota is home, and because people voted for us. That means the world to us!”
St. Croix Chocolate Company customers clearly love to share their good taste, lifting SCCC to Silver awards for:
- Best Dessert
- Best Minnesota-made Food or Beverage
- Best Place to Take Visitors
- Best Specialty Store
We also earned Gold for Best Classes or Workshops (we plan to offer more in the fall), and the Bronze award for Best Place to Buy a Gift.
